This year Halloween was totally different from last year. I decided to dress up as a family, just like last year, but oh man my plans didn’t go as planned.
The only reason I decided to buy costumes this year was that I wanted to have memories of our little family all dressed up. I decided to dress Manny as an astronaut. I found the perfect costume for Manny on Etsy I want to encourage him to dream big and fly for his dream.
@itsybitsywear customized his name on the back. His costume came with a hat and an Astronaut helmet.
For Nalas costume I went with Halloweencostumes.com I came across the perfect costume for her. Any guesses? Yes, I went with Yoda from Star Wars. I was visualizing Manny-walking Nala with their costumes on.
When looking for Nalas costume, I came across the perfect costume to match Manny’s. I found a women’s white astronaut costume. I immediately ordered it in a size Medium.
On October 30th Manny attended an outdoor party from The Little Gym.
Everything they did was safe for all kids and adults. Only a few families were allowed to attend at a certain time. I was honestly very grateful for the way they planned everything.
On Halloween we didn’t have any plans, so we decided to take pictures.
Let’s start off with my costume, for some reason my costume was looking like an XS. I decided to try it on and it didn’t go past my knees. I was shocked, I thought I had ordered the wrong size but I didn’t. At this time I had no costume to match Manny.
Nala decided to not cooperate with the pictures. We were outside taking pictures when Amazon decided to arrive. I had to let Nala go inside the house because she tends to be extra friendly with anyone who comes over.
When I go inside to bring Nala outside I noticed she had destroyed her costume, obviously, she didn’t like it. I was over it so decided to only take pictures of Manny by himself.
We left some candy outside for our neighbors but no one came by. This year’s holidays won’t be the same. I can’t wait for 2021.
